Coaches
Emily Wethington is excited to return for another fun summer with Normandy Barracudas Swim Team as a Head Coach. Emily started her swimming career when she was 9 years old at Normandy. She swam competitively for 7 years at CAC and 2 years at Anderson Barracudas where she qualified for YMCA Nationals and USS Junior Nationals. She also swam 4 years at Loveland High School where she qualified for Ohio State Championships all 4 years. Emily graduated from Loveland High School in 1998. She then went on to swim in college at Northern Michigan and University of Cincinnati and majored in Health Promotions. Previously she was an assistant coach at Mason Manta Rays for 5 years and Anderson Barracudas for 7 years where she produced Top 16 swimmers, National swimmers both YMCA and USS, HS State champions and Zone champions. Along with coaching, Emily received her Masters in Early Childhood Education and has taught in Cincinnati Public Schools for the past ten years. She resides in Loveland with her 3 daughters Carlie, Taylor and Jordyn.
Hi, my name is Hadley Erd! I go to the University of Dayton and graduated from MND. I have been diving for many years and something I am passionate about. I live in the Loveland area and am super excited for this Summer!
Katie began her swimming career at Normandy at the age of 6. Katie is currently attending the University of Dayton and participating in the UD club swim team. She also swam all four years on the MND Varsity swim team. Before swimming at MND, she swam at the Blue Ash YMCA for 3 years. She participated in the CIT program at Normandy for three years, was the Cuda Junior Coach for one summer, and was the 9-10 coach for the last three summers. She is so excited for the start of this season! Go Barracudas!!
Lucy is excited for another great season! Lucy swam competitively for 12 years and started her swimming career as a Normandy Barracuda when she was 7. She then began swimming year round for the Blue Ash YMCA at 9 and switched to the Milford Area Swim Team at the end of high school. She attended Loveland High School and was a varsity swimmer for four years. Lucy is currently studying Early Childhood Education at Ohio University. She participated in the CIT program at Normandy for three years and has been a Normandy coach since 2022. Go Barracudas!!
Hello! My name is Lindsay Peterman and I am sophomore at the University of Dayton majoring in Early Childhood Education. I have swam competitively for Sycamore High School and Normandy. This is my first season coaching for Normandy and I am so excited for this summer!
Hello! My name is Carlie Wethington. I will be a Senior at Loveland High School next year. I am also on the Loveland High School Varsity Track Team. I started diving at Normandy when I was 9 years old. This will be my second season coaching at Normandy. I am so excited for this season and I cannot wait to help your kiddos learn how to dive and have fun doing it. Go Cudas!!!
